In reading this article I was really jealous, these two boys are so smart. I really wish I had thought of this myself , it is an awesome idea, I did not even though that was an option. There were two different arguments throughout this article, debating who was taking advantage of who. Where the industries going to far in advertising through children, or were the boys being smart and using what they had in order to get ahead. Think about it just by wearing merchandise and using stuff with their logo on it they were getting paid 40 thousand dollars to go to the college of their choice. I bet that even all of the merchandise they received was giving to them. Giving them an entire wardrobe and surf equipment for free, that is sick! Being a college student money is always an issue, buying food, drinks, clothing and then of course tuition. This company is giving these two guys all the funds they could possibly ask for. With this they do not have to pay tuition, clothing, gear, the only thing they have to worry about is food. Personally I think that they are both using each other, both are getting something out of it. Like the old term says, you scratch my back and I will scratch yours. That is exactly what both sides are doing, one is getting their company out there and known to the market. While the boys are getting a fully paid scholarship to the school of their dreams. A dream come true, at least I know it is for me. Money is a big part of life, it always has been and will always be, it is just a fact of life. Some bill always needs to be paid and you need the funds to do this. I think these boys are so inventive, coming up with a way to fully pay for their college, all four years. They did not go the route used by many, like selling drugs or other illegal paraphernalia in order to make ends meet. Instead they exploited the resources they had and got a deal out of it. These boys are geniuses.
